Arrival to Airport and transfer to Hotel in Cusco

DIA2 INKA TRAIL 4D/3N – PISKACUCHO – WAYLLABAMBA (B)
06:00 hrs, We will transport you from your hotel in our comfortable private bus, after crossing the towns of Chincheros, Urubamba and Ollantaytambo in «Sacred Valley of the Incas» we’ll go to Piskacucho at Km. 82 of the railway Cusco – Machupicchu.
Piskacucho is the starting place to our walking trail. We will have a lunch in Hatunchaca site, after a short break we will restart our walk to Wayllabamba where we will have dinner and then we can spend the night in our camp

DIA 3 WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSCA – PAQAYMAYU
06:00hrs. After a very good breakfast we’ll start our walk to the highest point of the Inca Trail, where we can observe different microclimates passing from the rainforest of Yuncachimpa to the top of Warmiwañusca at 4200 m.a.s.l. After crossing this place we’ll have lunch, after a short break we will restart the walk to the Paqaymayu sector where we will have our second camp and overnight.

DIA 4 PAQAYMAYU – CHAQUICOCHA – WIÑAYWAYNA
06:00hrs. After the breakfast we will have a 45-minute hiking to the second step at 3850 m.a.s.l. with prior visit to the archaeological site of Runkurakay, then we’ll descend to the archaeological site of Sayacmarca, to later restart the hiking towards Phuyupatamarca where we will have lunch, after a short break we will continue the walk to Wiñaywayna where we’ll visit the archaeological site. We’ll have a free time and dinner. Overnight

Note:
The camps are subject to authorization from the Machupicchu Management Unit, and the availability of spaces determined by the INC, therefore the above-mentioned camps are referential. Few days before the trails the authorities determine the camps to be used, but generally the camps are the same mentioned above.
DIA 5 WIÑAYWAYNA MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO (B)
06:00hrs After breakfast, we’ll start the hiking to Inti Punku site, from here we can appreciate the majestic citadel of Machupicchu. We entered to Machupicchu where we register our arrival at the control point, then we started our guided tour by about 2 1/2 hours.
After visiting Machupicchu, we’ll go down by bus to Aguas Calientes town, where we’ll enjoy a Lunch (not included), afterwards we’ll go to the train station to go back to Ollantaytambo.
18:20hrs Return by expedition train to Ollantaytambo, there awaits us bus to return to the city of Cusco. Arrival at the hotel.

Take note that passengers who spend the night in AGUAS CALIENTES before going to MACHUPICCHU. You should leave your large suitcases AT THE CUSCO HOTEL. They will only be able to travel with a bag or backpack that must weigh a maximum of 5 kg / 11 lb and cannot be larger than 157 cm (height + length + width). Luggage that does not comply with these measures may not be entered into the train.
